Therapy with me is active, relational, and emotionally engaged. It’s not “just talk therapy,” and it’s not a space for venting without direction. Other times, a bit of humour or irreverence helps you breathe again and reconnect with yourself. I move fluidly between solemnity and levity to support co‑regulation and emotional safety.

When I sense that you’re ready, I offer challenge that’s clear, grounded, and compassionate. It’s never about confrontation — it’s about helping you see yourself more fully and step into your own agency.

Permission to Be Real

You don’t have to filter yourself here. If you need to curse, you can curse — and I might join you. Therapy is most powerful when you can show up as your full, unedited self.

I encourage clients to read the notes I take during our sessions. These aren’t clinical files hidden away — they’re tools for your growth. Reviewing them helps you stay engaged with the work, deepen your reflections between sessions, and track the shifts you’re making over time.
